Mon., July 12, 7 - 9 PM The monthly membership meeting of the Eastern Panhandle Beekeepers' Association will be held on Monday, July 12, from 7 until 9 PM. EPBA Vice President Mark Baker will talk about Requeening Colonies and the Pros and Cons of Nucleus Colonies. We will meet in a different location. The meeting will be held at the Jefferson County Community Service Center, on Wilshire Boulevard in Bardane, WV. This street is an exit off of the Route 9 "Bypass" expressway between Martinsburg and Charles Town. The venue is on the left coming from Route 9 (past the former Norm Thompson building, which is now for sale). We will use Entrance "B".

at 6 PM
The annual EPBA potluck picnic will be held on Monday, August 9, beginning at 6 PM. We will meet at the Norwalk Pavilion at War Memorial Park in Martinsburg. It is in the northwest corner of the park (closest to City Hospital) on Tennessee Avenue, adjacent to a small stream. Please bring a casserole dish or salad or dessert to share. EPBA will provide fried chicken, drinks and utensils. Bring unlabeled jars of your honey for a Honey Judging after the meal.
